Role Overview: The NAP Topper is responsible for , sheet metal parts, and completing the assembly of commercial/industrial refrigeration and HVAC equipment. This role ensures that all parts are installed correctly to meet quality standards and contribute to the overall efficiency of the production process.

- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and instructions.
- Read and comprehend bills of materials, identifying and pulling parts from the Bill of Materials.
- Install sheet metal parts, doors, etc., ensuring correct fitting to avoid scrap.
- Check work and ensure quality standards are met.
- Contribute to team effort by working with others and accomplishing related functions.
- Complete any tasks as assigned by the supervisor/lead.
- Comply with government regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Work overtime as necessary to meet production deadlines.
- Arrive for work on time and charge time accurately in the time and attendance system.
- Follow manufacturing instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Care for tools and equipment, reporting any issues to maintenance.
- Maintain a clean work area as required.
- Utilize the IFS system for daily operations, including logging in, reviewing assigned work, and maintaining accurate records
- Complete and clear IFS shop orders in a timely and accurate manner to support production tracking and reporting
- Participate in and complete required IFS training to ensure proper system usage and compliance
- Support and maintain 6S standards within the department to promote organization, cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency
Desired Qualifications:
- Education & Experience: A high school diploma is preferred. Understanding and following directions from supervisors is essential for advancement.

Skills:
- Effective communication and listening skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings and written instructions
- Basic math skills, including the ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16 of an inch.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to ask for clarification when needed.
- Good interpersonal skills for working in teams.
- Ability to monitor and assess equipment/system performance.
Certificates, Licenses or Training:
- On-site training
- Forklift license (provided on-site)
Interaction with Others:
Reports to NAP Supervisor. Must be able to receive, understand, and follow instructions accurately. Collaboration with other team members is essential for effective work and team cohesion.
Working Environment:
Work is performed in an industrial production area for a manufacturer of refrigeration and HVAC equipment. Employees are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, vehicles, and high noise levels in certain areas. The work environment also includes exposure to extreme temperatures and potential stress due to deadlines and product quality standards. Seasonal variations in working hours may apply based on production demands.
