Role Overview: At RAE Corporation, we are seeking a dynamic and collaborative individual to join us as a NAP Prewirer. As a Prewirer, you will play a crucial role in prewiring components on commercial/industrial HVAC & refrigeration equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a Safe and Clean Working Environment: Ensure compliance with safety procedures, rules, and regulations to promote a safe and tidy workspace.

2. Interpret Engineering Drawings and Instructions: Read and interpret engineering drawings and instructions accurately to execute tasks efficiently.

3. Understand Bills of Material: Familiarize yourself with bills of material to streamline workflow processes.

4. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks to uphold standards and ensure precision in workmanship.

5. Pressure Verification: Meticulously verify pressure levels to maintain equipment integrity.

6. Equipment and Parts Management: Locate, organize, and manage all necessary equipment, tools, and parts required for the job.

7. Unit Layout Determination: Determine optimal unit layouts based on engineering drawings and equipment functionality.

8. Maneuvering and Placement: Maneuver around units and accurately place components as required.

9. Optimized Equipment Layout: Arrange equipment to facilitate easy serviceability and maintenance access.

10. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve tasks efficiently and support team objectives.

11. Flexible Task Completion: Complete assigned tasks promptly and assist with related functions as needed.

12. Compliance with Regulations and Policies: Adhere to government regulations, laws, and company policies and procedures.

13. Overtime and Attendance: Work overtime when necessary and maintain punctual attendance.

14. Accurate Time Management: Record work hours accurately for precise labor distribution and payroll processing.

15. Independent Work and Self-Motivation: Follow instructions, work independently, and demonstrate self-motivation to meet deadlines.

16. Equipment Maintenance: Care for tools and equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly.

17. Work Area Maintenance: Keep the work area clean and organized according to company standards.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.

- Ability to comprehend and follow directions accurately.

- Proficient communication and listening skills.

- Basic mathematical skills for precise measurements.

- Capability to operate equipment effectively.

Other Physical Requirements: Sustained use of eyesight for functions such as visual inspection, reading, measuring, and operating hand tools, along with the ability to see objects and detect motion at wide angles (peripheral vision) to maintain employee safety, manual dexterity, balancing to prevent falling when on the ladder, stooping downward and forward by bending at the waist using lower extremities and back muscles, ability to hear and understand clear oral communication.
