Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Cuisine to lead our culinary team at our prestigious high-end Latino restaurant located within the Intercontinental the Red Sea. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Latino cuisine, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence and innovation in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Development: Design and execute a seasonal menu that showcases authentic Latino flavors while incorporating contemporary culinary techniques.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Foster a culture of creativity, professionalism, and teamwork.
  • Quality Control: Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure the highest quality standards. Conduct regular kitchen inspections to maintain cleanliness and organization.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies while minimizing waste and adhering to budget guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with restaurant management to create promotional events, special menus, and culinary experiences that enhance the dining experience.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies related to food handling and sanitation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within a high-end restaurant, preferably with expertise in Latino cuisine.
  • Experience in a Michelin-starred restaurant is essential or fine dining restaurant setting .
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for culinary excellence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
