Finance Assistant
The hotel team work closely together your position will see you sharing your focus and time across Finance and Night Management as well as all other areas of the hotel as needed. If your next step is Finance Management this job will get your there.
You will work very closely with the Director of Finance and Business Support along with the day-time Duty Managers, ensuring that handovers are thorough and accurate, as well as making sure that the overall hotel team is setup for success.
What we need from you:
A relevant qualification in accounting or finance, working towards CPA or CA qualifications.
Accounting experience in a professional setting advantageous.
Strong analytical and numerical skills, possessing a high attention to detail.
Proven organisational and communication skills.
Experience in a Guest Services/Front Office/Night Audit/Finance related position with supervisory experience, preferably within a hotel/hospitality environment advantageous.
Computer savvy and particularly versed in Microsoft Excel, you’ll have experience using hotel property management systems and be able to share your expertise with the team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multiple projects and prioritise workloads.
Ability to manage complex relationships along with demonstrated ability to interact with guests, staff, and third parties that reflects highly on the Hotel, the brand and IHG.
