To get our guests’ memorable experiences off to an unforgettable start, we’re looking for an Assistant Reservations Manager who can lead with confidence, inspire a high-performing team, and ensure every booking journey is seamless from first inquiry to final confirmation. You’ll combine operational excellence with a genuine passion for guest experience, making sure every interaction reflects our brand standards and leaves guests feeling informed, valued, and excited about their stay.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
● Leading, coaching, and motivating the reservations team to deliver exceptional guest service at every touchpoint
● Overseeing all reservation activities to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with brand standards
● Managing, monitoring, and optimizing inventory, rates, availability, and promotions in line with revenue strategies
● Acting as the main escalation point for complex reservations, guest concerns, and special requests
● Ensuring IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests are consistently recognized and their preferences honored
● Analyzing booking trends, pick-up reports, and performance data to support forecasting and revenue decisions
● Collaborating closely with Revenue Management, Front Office, and Sales teams to maximize occupancy and guest satisfaction
● Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, packages, and promotions to guide both guests and the team
● Ensuring reservation systems, procedures, and records are accurate, compliant, and well maintained
What we need from you
● Proven experience in reservations or front office operations, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
● Strong communication skills – you lead by example and communicate with clarity, warmth, and confidence
● Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy and consistency
● Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, especially in a fast-paced environment
● Fluency in the local language – additional languages are an advantage
● Tech-savvy and comfortable with reservation systems, reporting tools, and basic financial concepts
● A guest-centric mindset with a passion for service excellence and team development
