Summary:

Remote Sales of Finished Products and Hardware in Chicago and Indiana with remote support for Minnesota Sales Representatives’ territory. Over night travel approximately every other week. Works with the Sales Representatives to identify customers for Finished Product and Drapery Hardware. Teach/assist in measuring for drapery and hardware. Give guidance on Hardware motorization and installation.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Represents and manages Fabricut, Stroheim, Vervain, S. Harris and Trend in a professional manner and appearance.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with current and potential customers.
• Advises customer as to kind and quantity of fabric needed for Window Treatments and appropriate hardware for specific uses.
• Discusses features and qualities of fabric such as weave, texture, color and usage.
• Teach customers how to navigate the Fabricut websites for Finished Product and Hardware.
• Assist/teach customers how to accurately measure window treatments and hardware.
• Writes up Quotes for widow treatments and hardware.
• Respond to customer’s questions and problems on a timely basis and offer a solution as quickly as possible, mediating and resolving challenges fairly.
• Interfaces with other departments to provide good service.
• Displays good safety and housekeeping practices.
• Uses material and equipment effectively.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

All essential job functions.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years’ experience with Window Treatments required
• Workroom knowledge beneficial
• Ability to learn product lines.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Superb interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work effectively with others.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Must be able to travel overnight for most sales territories.
• Excellent driving record.
