By applying your expertise within our facility in Kelowna, as the Yard Leadhand.
Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, the successful candidate will carry out the following:

• Co-ordinate staff and 3rd party trucks for safe delivery and sorting of various loads/materials.
• Comply with all the Company’s production standards, procedures and requirements.
• Completing daily production & safety reports, annual reviews, equipment evaluations, & other administrative tasks.
• Operate all necessary equipment required for the performance of duties in the assigned area.
• Be an active supervisor and assist in sorting Recovery Plus loads and RP Bales.
• Report any contaminated loads through the non-conforming load portal.

• Practical experience: Forklift experience / certification. Loader or skid steer experience is an asset.
• Communication skills: Strong verbal & interpersonal skills including the ability to speak to others with respect.
• Safety knowledge: Following safety standards and procedures and offer safety suggestions.
• Strong Organization skills to prioritize daily tasks
• Environment: Work in an industrial environmental exposed to seasonal temperatures.
