About the Role

• Assists maintenance in tooling changeovers, quality, and production in the setup, profiling and start-up of both new and existing tooling.
• Troubleshoots existing profile-related problems.
• Assists in developing injection operators’ profiling skills and problem solving techniques.
• Ensures all new tooling has documented master profiles and existing master profiles are kept up to date.
• Manage Injection Tooling Spares.
• Tracks Hot runner and tool cycles weekly.
• Assists production in profiling existing tooling from master profile sheets.
• Assists production and quality in solving recurring defects caused by improper profiles.
• Oversee quality specs are met and CPK’s in RealSPC.
• Develops and maintains progressive training in injection molding theory and application; identifies, plans, and conducts or coordinates technical training for plant employees (GMP, SOPs, WIs, FCDs, machine operations, processing, lockout/tagout, or forklift/man lift operations).
• Performs all other tasks as directed.

About You

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in PET manufacturing a plus.
• Strong machine/mechanical knowledge
• Manufacturing Experience ideally with Injection Molding and resin dryers.
• Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts; including call-ins and weekends as needed to support production changeovers and start-ups
• Previous operating and profiling experience with Husky machines
• Working knowledge of practical experience with quality product specifications and controls methods
• Ability to work independently, solve problems, make decisions and resolve conflicts

The pay range for the above referenced position is determined by taking into account many factors such as experience, qualifications, certifications, skills, education and other business-related factors. Salary decisions are based on each job. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $33.75 to $36.00.
