- Determine daily work priorities with the shift lead.
- Use a computer to scan and log production jobs.
- Prepare metal surfaces for painting, including cleaning, masking, and priming.
- Apply primer and finish coats using high-pressure paint equipment.
- Inspect painted components for proper coverage and finish quality.
- Identify runs, splatter, uneven coverage, and other finish defects.
- Perform touch-ups and rework as needed to meet quality standards.
- Maintain paint equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Follow all established safety procedures and quality standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 1–2 years of experience using high-pressure paint systems.
- Automotive or industrial painting experience preferred.
- Experience with surface preparation, primer, and finish coats.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Starting pay of $18.00+/hour, based on experience.
- Eligible temp-to-hire employees receive a $1.00/hour attendance incentive after 30 days of employment.
