Production Control Expeditor
Shift: Day Shift (Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Starting Pay: $16.00–$19.00/hour (DOE)
Action Group Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Production Control Expeditor to join a growing manufacturing team. This position plays a key role in keeping production running smoothly by tracking materials, resolving shortages, and ensuring parts are delivered to the right departments on time. This position plays a key role in keeping production running smoothly by tracking materials, resolving shortages, and ensuring parts are delivered to the right departments on time. Responsibilities
- Track materials and parts throughout the production process to ensure work stays on schedule.
- Research shortages using the company's computer system and help locate missing parts.
- Coordinate the movement of materials between production departments.
- Work closely with assembly and production teams to ensure manufacturing needs are met.
- Deliver parts and materials between facilities using a company-provided vehicle.
- Assist with investigating inventory discrepancies and production shortages.
- Update production information and communicate issues affecting the production schedule.
- Prepare reports and information for daily production meetings.
- Maintain accurate records using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of warehouse, expediting, inventory, or manufacturing experience.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to read engineering drawings or blueprints is preferred.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Starting pay of $16.00–$19.00/hour, based on experience.
- Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule.
