This position is responsible for operating automated robotic welding equipment used to manufacture high-quality metal components. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, enjoys working with machinery, and is committed to producing quality products in a safe, fast-paced environment.Responsibilities
- Load and unload metal components into robotic welding fixtures.
- Operate robotic welding cells according to production schedules and work instructions.
- Start, monitor, and complete automated weld cycles.
- Inspect finished parts for weld quality, fit, and overall appearance.
- Perform basic measurements and visual quality inspections.
- Replace welding wire, tips, nozzles, and other consumable components as needed.
- Identify equipment issues and notify maintenance or supervision when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Perform other production duties as assigned.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Robotic welding or welding experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to read basic blueprints or work instructions preferred.
- Comfortable using measuring tools and performing quality inspections.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Starting pay of $18.00–$22.00/hour, based on experience.
- Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule.
