This position is responsible for cleaning and preparing newly fabricated metal parts for the painting process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys hands-on work, and understands the importance of proper surface preparation to ensure a quality finished product.Responsibilities
- Clean newly manufactured metal parts to prepare them for painting or coating.
- Remove dirt, oil, grease, metal shavings, and other contaminants from parts.
- Inspect components to ensure they are properly prepared before entering the paint process.
- Move materials safely between work areas as needed.
- Operate a manual transmission company truck to transport parts within the facility.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Assist with other production duties as assigned.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate a manual transmission truck is required.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Starting pay of $15.00–$16.00/hour.
- Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule.
