Property Maintenance Technician
Shift: Day Shift (Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Starting Pay: $16.00–$18.00/hour (DOE)
Action Group Staffing is seeking a dependable Property Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for performing general building and facility maintenance, preventative maintenance, and basic repairs to keep the facility operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with facility or property maintenance, and enjoys solving problems in a hands-on environment.

Action Group Staffing is seeking a dependable Property Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for performing general building and facility maintenance, preventative maintenance, and basic repairs to keep the facility operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with facility or property maintenance, and enjoys solving problems in a hands-on environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and facility equipment.
- Complete general repairs involving doors, windows, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and other building components.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools.
- Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance needs before they become larger issues.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and notify management when materials need to be replenished.
- Read work orders and prioritize maintenance requests.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Document completed maintenance activities and repairs.
- Assist with facility improvements and special projects as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in property, facilities, apartment, hotel, commercial building, or industrial maintenance preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Starting pay of $16.00–$18.00/hour, based on experience.
- Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule.
