This position is responsible for setting up and operating a press brake to bend and form metal components according to engineering drawings and production specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to producing quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a CNC press brake to bend and form metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings.
- Measure parts using tape measures, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
- Verify dimensions and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications.
- Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality and accuracy.
- Safely load and unload material from the press brake.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Previous press brake, CNC, or metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Starting pay of $17.00–$20.00/hour, based on experience.
- $3.00/hour shift differential for overnight employees.
- Eligible temp-to-hire employees receive a $1.00/hour attendance incentive after 30 days of employment.
