Oversees daily operations of a tooling and support area within a manufacturing environment. Responsible for managing tooling inventory, supporting production teams, maintaining equipment, and coordinating workflow to ensure operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily activities related to tooling, equipment, and material support.
- Maintain and track inventory levels; perform cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
- Receive, inspect, store, and issue tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Ensure tooling is properly maintained, labeled, and safe for use.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and service tools and shop equipment.
- Support production teams with tooling setup and readiness.
- Monitor inventory usage and initiate replenishment as needed.
- Work with vendors to order and track tooling and supplies.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the work area.
- Use systems or software to track inventory, orders, and schedules.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2–3+ years of experience in tooling, machining, or manufacturing support.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and shop equipment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Basic computer and inventory system experience.
- Prior leadership or team coordination experience.
- Technical training related to machining or tooling.
- Experience supporting CNC or production environments.
